About the artist
Gavin Brodin, originally from London, is a celebrated designer and artist whose work spans luxury residences, bespoke aviation interiors, and iconic hospitality venues. His portfolio includes some of the world’s most exclusive addresses, such as 8 Palace Green in London and the Aaron Spelling Manor in Los Angeles. He has designed homes across New York, Miami, Detroit, Chicago, and internationally throughout the UK, Germany, Switzerland, France, and Italy. His design language—refined, modern, and timeless—has also shaped elite spaces like the Rolling Stone Club and Crown Bar, as well as interiors for private Gulfstream jets.
Kelley Brodin brings a deeply intuitive, nature-based perspective to the studio. As a trained botanical artist, her work is rooted in the rhythms and textures of the natural world. Her sculptural sensibility is informed by movement, light, and transformation. Kelley’s interactive works have been featured at major cultural moments and institutions, including Art Basel, SXSW, TED Talks, and Coachella, where she has collaborated with global brands to bring ephemeral beauty to life.
Together, Gavin and Kelley founded Formed For to explore the human experience through sculptural form. Their collaborative process blends analog and digital, beginning with hand-drawn sketches and evolving through 3D modeling, virtual reality simulations, and 3D printing. These tools allow them to refine each design iteratively—testing scale, proportion, and context—before working with carefully selected artisans around the world to bring each piece to life. Depending on the project, the structural and finishing work may be completed by the same studio or by multiple specialists to achieve the highest level of craft.
